About the role
As General Manager, you will ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the organisation. This is a multi-faceted role that will see you supporting the board on governance matters, driving operational excellence, managing back-office functions and providing high-level advice to the CEO to shore up sustainability and growth. You will manage people, projects and systems to enable Common Threads to deliver high-quality campaigns, events and giving programs.
About you
You will bring substantial experience at a senior or leadership level in a similar role and the flexibility to work at both a strategic and delivery level whilst the organisation is developing and growing. You have strong planning and project management capabilities, excellent financial acumen and experience overseeing operations including ICT, procurement, HR and WHS. You are comfortable and skilled at engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including funders and partners. You are a values-driven leader with demonstrated success to leading and developing a small team.
