About the Role Tronox is seeking a dynamic Planning Superintendent to lead our maintenance planning team at Kwinana. As the Planning Superintendent, you will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance activities, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to ensure effective planning processes. Core Responsibilities: Lead a diverse team of planners and manage multiple stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful development and delivery of the maintenance plan. Oversee the forecasting, and reporting of the maintenance budget. Lead the continuous improvement of the planning processes and systems to ensure maintenance is delivered in a systematic manner. Ensure that the integrity of the data in the computerised maintenance systems (CMMS) is maintained. Lead the preparation of the maintenance budget and identify strategic cost controls. Provide technical knowledge and support to the team where required regarding planning, continuous improvement and cost controls. Participate in the development of improvement strategies and procedures for equipment and maintenance activities. Drive sustainability and cost control efforts by identifying and implementing improvements in equipment and work procedures. Collaborate with key stakeholders including the reliability team to establish maintenance schedules, work procedures, downtime, critical items list, and spare part requirements. About you: To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced operational leader ideally with a background in complex processing plant, refinery or heavy industry, along with an engineering or trade qualification. You are extremely output focussed with a demonstrated track record in mentoring and coaching others to achieve outstanding results. You possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective business partnerships. As a successful candidate, you will ideally possess the following: Demonstrated experience in a similar role leading diverse teams ideally 2 years as a superintendent. Degree qualified in Mechanical or electrical engineering is preferable however not essential. A genuine desire to nurture positive relationships through effective communication and open consultation. Your influential leadership style will empower you to coach, develop, and inspire your team, drawing out their best qualities and fostering their growth. A strong understanding and experience in SAP.
