The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand. 
RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women's health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women. 
RANZCOG supports research into women's health and act as an advocate for women's healthcare by forging productive relationships with individuals, the community and professional organisations, both locally and internationally.
Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Business Analyst who thrives on turning complex problems into practical, impactful solutions? Join RANZCOG as a Senior Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping the systems and processes that support our vital work across women's health, education and advocacy. In this parental leave position, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and our technical teams to analyse business needs, design innovative solutions, and deliver projects that drive meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis, design, testing and implementation of new business systems and processes.
- Act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and solution design sessions to translate business needs into clear, actionable insights.
- Conduct detailed process and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability uplift across the team.
- Support change management through training materials, stakeholder engagement and solution adoption.
Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work with senior leaders.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
- Experience in healthcare, education or a regulated setting will be highly regarded.
