The Role of a Mechanical Project Engineer in Tasmania

UGL is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to assist on projects located in the North-West of Tasmania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are constructed to the required technical, quality, and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:

* Liaise with subcontractors to ensure job construction meets technical, quality, and customer requirements.
">
* Conduct professional site surveys and review results to ensure accuracy and coordinate necessary actions.
">
* Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure timely project completion.
">
* Provide technical guidance and support to associated civil/structural subcontractors and suppliers.
">
* Offer engineering advice to subcontractors/suppliers as needed.
">
* Assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports and attending report meetings.
">

Requirements and Qualifications:
">
To be successful in this role, you will have:
">
">
* A Mechanical Engineering qualification.
">
* SIGNIFICANT engineering experience in design, construction, and commissioning of Brownfields and Greenfields projects, preferably in water infrastructure.
">
* Strong communication skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities, with the capacity to build effective working relationships at various levels both internally and externally.
">
* Proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
