About Us:
Gold Coast Touch Association is a vibrant touch football community at Owen Park, Southport. We pride ourselves on family values, inclusivity, and fostering a supportive environment. We host competitive competitions three nights a week and encourage personal and professional growth, offering opportunities to represent Regional, State, and National sporting bodies.
Role Purpose:
Drive strategic development, financial sustainability, community engagement, and administrative operations. Identify growth opportunities, secure funding, build partnerships, enhance visibility, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development:Implement business plans, pursue club expansion, monitor KPIs.
Marketing & Communications:Oversee marketing strategies, manage social media and newsletters, build stakeholder relationships.
Financial Oversight:Develop budgets, monitor revenue, ensure compliance, process financial transactions.
Club Development:Support membership growth, improve operations, represent the club externally.
Administration & Operations:Manage competitions, provide administrative support, coordinate meetings and events, maintain databases, manage payroll and stock.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Experience in Sporting Club General Management & Competition Coordination
Strong leadership and strategic thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in business development, marketing, or fundraising
Financial literacy and budgeting experience
Passion for community sport and volunteerism
Strong organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Commitment to the club's mission and values
