The Role
Join our team as a Receiving and Logistics Officer In this dynamic role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, managing sample drop-offs, deliveries, and shipments with precision and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include arranging couriers, also picking up Samples from the Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast, preparing freight, triaging and labelling samples, maintaining accurate records, and regularly using a forklift to load and unload cages. With a focus on exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and multitasking, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment. A forklift license is desirable but not essential, A car license is essential and knowledge of lab safety is a plus. * Greeting clients dropping off samples.
* Receive deliveries and register client samples.
* Ensuring phone calls and emails are answered promptly and professionally.
* Arrange couriers and prepare freight for dispatch.
* Ensuring sample deliveries and COC's are reviewed/triaged, labelled and distributed within designated timeframes and according to client needs and approved sample receipt procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
* Manual handling up to 10kg loads.
* Maintain sample storage and disposal by following safe work practices.
* Use a forklift to load and unload cages.

* An understanding of laboratory safety and chemical hazards.

* Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
* Drivers licence is essential
