Conveyor Belt Technician Role
As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and identifying faults and damage to ensure optimal equipment performance. You will also undertake repairs on conveyor belts and participate in installations, shutdowns, and belt change outs across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing regular inspections of conveyor belts to identify potential issues
* Repairing and replacing damaged or worn-out conveyor belts
* Participating in installations, shutdowns, and belt change outs across various projects
* Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Relevant experience as a Belt Splicer or Conveyer Technician
* Mine site experience preferred
* Valid driver's license
* Commitment to health, safety, and quality protocols
