**About the Role**
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist managers to implement the company's EHS Policy and Management System, including conducting and visiting regional branches and sites throughout WA/SA/NT
- Promote incorporation of EHS into business planning and assist with establishing EHS as a business and management performance measure, including manager KPI's
- Ensure timely monthly reporting, including collation, conducting and communicating incident/ accident analysis to identify trends and recommend strategies to management that may assist in reducing incident/accident occurrence
- Assist in the investigation and management of any serious incidents or near misses involving employees, contractors or members of the public on Wormald premises or involving Wormald's products and/or services, for the purpose of identifying the root causes for the incident and the corrective actions required to prevent a recurrence.
- Identify risk and non-compliance issues that may have a significant impact on the business and ensure that activities regularly focus on these areas.
- Involvement in the development and implementation of regional and/or national EHS projects, processes and procedures to promote employee and contractor involvement in relation to workplace EHS.
- Generate and communicate relevant EHS documentation, including toolbox talks/topics and Safety/ Environmental Alerts.
- Maintain networks, internally with other EHS personnel, and externally with industry, statutory and professional bodies.
**About You**
- Tertiary EHS-related qualifications and prior experience in the Environmental, Health & Safety sector is considered essential.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products.
- Flexibility to travel intrastate and interstate, on an occasional basis.
