Description du poste Main tasks:Ensure customer needs and expectations are met by providing high and consistent standards of food preparation and presentation.Help establish the identity of the outlet by adhering to presentation standards according to recipes.Know the preparation methods and standard recipes for all menu items in your specific kitchen and follow procedures at all times.Maintain all work areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils according to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in collaboration with the hygiene manager.Coordinate with colleagues as needed regarding operational issues.Understand operational procedures for all kitchen equipment and use them correctly to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.Assist in implementing food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and local regulations.Work closely with the hygiene manager to implement all safety and hygiene procedures.Participate in regular meetings and briefings.Understand and comply with all safety rules, emergency procedures, and fire prevention regulations.Participate in training and development programs to improve personal and professional standards.Be flexible and adaptable to rotation within different kitchen outlets.Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the sous-chef and head chef.Other tasks:Be punctual, wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag.Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, adhering to hotel and departmental standards.Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.Respond to departmental changes dictated by hotel needs.Show flexibility and extend job tasks to fulfill all other reasonable duties, including reassignments to other departments if necessary, to meet business and customer service needs.Attend training and meetings as required. Qualifications The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:Strong attention to detail, style, and aesthetic of the hotel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.University degree in culinary arts or a related field.2 years of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in English, Arabic, and French.
