As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook Modern Australian dishes, using fresh, seasonal produce from our curated menu
* Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and appealing presentation
* Assist with stock management, ordering, and minimising food waste
* Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
* Mentor and supervise junior kitchen staff and trainees
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on menu innovation, specials, and customer experience
Essential Requirements
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
* Minimum 4 years' experience as a Chef in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment
* Strong knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and passion for fresh ingredients
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
* Creative, detail-oriented, and a genuine team player
