We are looking for a Store Manager to join us at our Platypus store in Corio!
This role will see you lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate casuals, including support from your Assistant Store Manager. Your responsibilities include driving sales and KPIs, customer engagement, and team member coaching and development. You will work collaboratively with your Area Manager to identify opportunities for your store and team in a high-profile space.
The role & responsibilities:
1. Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
2. Motivate your team to achieve KPIs and added value targets across stores.
3. Monitor store sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, acknowledge outstanding results, and identify missed opportunities.
4. Manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and rostering standards.
5. Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and encourage individual development with training and succession plans.
6. Ensure efficient OH&S management and compliance with legislation.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. At least 1 year of retail store management experience in a fast-paced environment.
2. A motivated and driven ‘Make it Happen’ attitude.
3. A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
4. Strategic thinking to identify missed opportunities and a proven track record in driving sales and KPIs.
5. Operational excellence with experience in stock control and visual merchandising.
6. Experience in managing rosters and wage control.
