About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel – Financial Services, you will provide legal support across Allianz Partners' Australian business, with a focus on financial services regulation, insurance products, and commercial arrangements.
You'll work closely with a variety of internal teams, contributing to both day‐to‐day legal advisory and broader business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear, practical legal advice across sales, marketing, distribution, claims, and operations
* Identify and manage legal risk in line with business objectives
* Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial and distribution agreements
* Support the onboarding of new partners and business relationships
* Assist in the legal aspects of product development and implementation
* Support underwriting agency management and business initiatives
* Advise on compliance with financial services and insurance regulatory requirements
* Support regulatory change initiatives and engagement with relevant regulators
* Build strong working relationships across legal, risk, compliance and business teams
* Deliver clear and concise advice tailored to a range of stakeholders
* Provide training and guidance on key legal issues
About You
* 2–5 years PQE
* Background in financial services, insurance, or regulated environments
* Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
