Facilities Manager
We are seeking a facilities manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. This is a permanent full-time position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing breakdown and maintenance, preventative maintenance, and small projects. They will also identify risks and opportunities related to maintenance and capital works, developing plans to meet commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
This role involves working with the property asset management team to develop strategic and asset planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in local government, asset management, field service, project engineering, facility management, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage breakdown and maintenance, preventative maintenance, and small projects.
* Identify risks and opportunities related to maintenance and capital works.
* Analyze call-outs, reactive maintenance, and requests to inform maintenance plans and schedules.
* Serve as the first point of contact for technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance issues.
* Monitor and oversee contractor performance.
Required Skills:
* Experience in local government, asset management, field service, project engineering, facility management, or a related field.
* Project management qualification or relevant experience.
* Current driver's license.
