The ACT Policing seeks a highly organised and skilled professional to fill various vacancies across its portfolios. This role will involve providing crucial support to senior leadership, including managers, commanders, national managers, and assistant commissioners.
As an Executive Assistant or Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for prioritising workflow, organising travel, managing diaries, and acting as a central point of contact for the broader management team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building effective working relationships with members of the AFP executive and their teams;
* Demonstrating solid interpersonal skills and foresight to meet the needs of senior leaders;
* Possessing strong organisational abilities and efficiently managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work;
* Applying judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving, maintaining integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters;
* Adapting to changing circumstances and remaining composed under pressure.
Essential Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship at the time of application;
* Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage a high workload, and show initiative;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
