Mine Geologist - Underground Gold Operations Role Overview We are seeking experienced Mine Geologists to support underground gold mining operations across various sites. These roles focus on grade control, ore delineation, and geological support to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable mining outcomes. Opportunities may suit Geologists at early-career through to senior levels, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct underground grade control activities including face mapping, chip sampling, and structural interpretation Interpret geological data to define ore boundaries and optimise stope and development designs Produce and maintain accurate geological models, sections, and plans Collaborate closely with mining, engineering, and survey teams to support daily production activities Provide geological input into drill-and-blast design, stope reconciliation, and ore loss/dilution analysis Monitor and reconcile production data against geological models Ensure geological work complies with site procedures, safety standards, and statutory requirements Contribute to continuous improvement of geological processes and data quality Software & Systems- Vary depending on role Leapfrog Geo Deswik Datamine or Surpac Micromine acQuire or similar Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline Experience in underground gold mining environments Strong understanding of grade control, structural geology, and orebody interpretation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production-driven environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines High attention to detail with strong data management skills Additional Requirements Current Australian manual driver's licence Ability to work site-based rosters (FIFO from Perth) Eligibility to work in Australia
