About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your role:
* Provide high level advice and awareness to delegates, decision-makers and other relevant stakeholders on corrupt conduct and public interest disclosures.
* Maintain high working knowledge of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011, Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 and other relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
* Lead and activity participate in complex investigations and reviews.
* Manage assessments and determinations of complex and sensitive complaints and information from employees and stakeholders to ascertain whether the alleged conduct amounts to suspected corrupt conduct and/or a public interest disclosure.
