Mount Scopus Memorial College, a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses—St Kilda East, Caulfield South, and Burwood—invites applications for a part-time Secondary Music Teacher position. This is a (0.70) FTE permanent role starting in Term 3, 2025, at our Burwood campus.
We seek applicants with a growth mindset, a passion for lifelong learning, and a commitment to working in a contemporary educational environment. The successful candidate will share their love of learning, demonstrate knowledge of contemporary pedagogies, and work collaboratively within a team.
Applicants must have:
* Current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
* Experience delivering engaging music education programs to students in Years 7–10
* A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to child safety and wellbeing
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one within six months of employment
