As our next Trainee Asset Data Management Officer, you'll be a key part of a positive, future-focused team working to ensure our asset information is accurate, reliable, and responsive.
This is a two-year full-time traineeship that combines paid work and study—leading to a Certificate IV in Local Government. You'll gain real experience supporting asset accounting and asset management while learning to work with industry-standard software, systems, and data.

What we're looking for:
* Someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working through problems methodically.

* Someone who is curious, analytical, and ready to ask questions and learn.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with a willingness to learn new software tools.
What's a day in the life of a Trainee Asset Data Management Officer look like?
* Reading and interpreting asset data documents from developers, contractors and internal teams.
* Updating databases and mapping systems with new asset information.
* Collaborating with teams across Council to track and clean up data.
* Supporting asset valuations and helping build forward works programs.
