Sealed Performance Batteries (SPB) is a distributor and wholesaler of energy and storage products. An Australian-owned company with over 30 years’ experience in the battery industry, SPB has locations across Australia including its brand new Distribution Centre located in North Gold Coast. Due to ongoing expansion, we are looking to recruit additional members for our new facility.
About the Role
We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and reliable Storeperson to support our warehouse operations. This role will not only include the warehouse functions detailed below, but for the right person has the potential to expand into other duties include assisting with Stock Control, Product Maintenance and Freight Management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Forklift driving
* Picking & packing (some heavy lifting)
* Loading & Unloading trucks
* Warehouse upkeep
* Other general Warehouse duties
The ideal candidate will have:
* High reach forklift experience
* Inventory control (advantageous)
* Attention to detail
* Battery experience or a willingness to learn
* Friendly personality and good interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of Brisbane & surrounding districts
* Ability to work autonomously and as a team
