Key Responsibilities
* Taking overall accountability for defining, managing and delivering a critical payments market infrastructure solution
* Working closely with Product Management to maintain oversight of the solution lifecycle – change request scoping activities, delivery roadmap, design, release documentation, industry testing and adoption
* Continuing to develop subject matter expertise and bridging the gap between business and technology
* Ownership of commercial and contractual negotiations
* Ensuring adherence to contractual obligations by working closely with legal partners
* External stakeholder management – keeping all levels (from executive to business analyst) informed and addressing key concerns in a timely manner
* Internal stakeholder management – securing executive approval for new programme resources and investments impacting overall business case
* Ensuring key risks and opportunities are well understood by executive/senior management
* Working with risk partners and taking ownership of the risk profile of the solution
* Ensuring that multi-disciplinary teams from geographically diverse locations collaborate and are aligned with common objectives
* Represent Swift in industry workshops
* Coach less experienced staff and share knowledge where relevant throughout the organisation
Requirements
* Strong payments subject matter expertise
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders (executives, technology, architects, business analysts, operations)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex issues
* Ability to manage multiple complex tasks on an ongoing basis
* Technical knowledge (networks, security solution, public cloud) an advantage
* Ability to work with multiple teams / squads located in multiple regions
