What you'll do * Deliver high level technology support services with minimal supervision including but not limited to preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, commissioning, de-installation and general technical support. * Independently solve complex technical problems regarding health technology equipment and systems. * Provide supervision, training and support to fellow team members, including technical practice supervision and/or supervision of small work groups. * Assist supervisors and managers as directed with service planning, establishing priorities and scheduling major work programs. * Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members and managers, to achieve service delivery objectives. * Contribute to the development and continual improvement of technical practice and processes. About you We are searching for someone who has: * At least hold an Associate Diploma (generally graduating prior to the year 2000) or a Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) (Year 2000 onwards), tertiary, or equivalent formal qualification(s) in the field of Engineering. * The licences, certifications and accreditations required to carry out activities within the relevant discipline areas, or willingness and ability to make significant progress towards obtaining such during the first 6 months of employment. For example: Restricted Electrical Work Licence. * Proven high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in the maintenance, installation and technical support of health technology equipment and systems. * Proven ability to apply independent judgment and initiative to effectively plan, execute and coordinate technical service delivery with minimal guidance from more senior practitioners. * Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members and managers. * Proven ability to work as an effective team member to achieve organisational goals. * Able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
