Strategic Risk Leader
As the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's risk management strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of risk frameworks across the business. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying, mitigating, and managing financial and non-financial risks, while fostering a risk-aware culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks to provide strategic oversight on all risk-related matters.
* Provide expert advice to business units to identify, mitigate, and manage both financial and non-financial risks across the group.
* Evaluate and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure the organization operates within its defined risk appetite.
* Support the CEO and CIO in the development and execution of housing programs and advising the CEO, Investment Committee, and Board on risk management priorities.
Requirements:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, economics, or a related field is essential.
* Postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with at least 10+ years risk management experience, including executive leadership experience with significant autonomy.
* Understanding of housing, including the development cycle, and investment proposition.
* Experience presenting/participating on Investment Committees and/or Boards.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
