Senior Civil Designer Location: Perth Contract Length: 12 months Role Responsibilities: Take the lead in producing 2D drawings using MicroStation from 12d models or equivalent platforms. Manage and coordinate workshare activities between multiple office locations. Participating in meetings, preparing progress reports, and adhering to established checking procedures. Assisting in clarifying project scope and identifying changes in accordance with project change management processes. Collecting data from multiple sources and preparing engineering studies, analyses, calculations, and other technical documentation. Contributing to the technical development of solutions and recommendations, ensuring the delivery of final project documentation. Resolve discrepancies between project requirements and client expectations proactively. Qualifications & Experience: Extensive experience in civil design within the mining, energy, and/or infrastructure sectors. Proven track record of leading a civil design team. Experience delivering medium to large-scale projects within a multidisciplinary environment. Experience working with 3D modelling workflows. Background in the resource sector or linear infrastructure projects is preferred. Proficiency in a civil design software package such as 12D is required. Experience with additional design tools such as Civil 3D or Inroads is highly regarded. Prior experience in road design and/or large earthworks projects is essential.
