We're hiring DIDO (Drive In / Drive Out) Utilities from Regional Queensland on a fulltime 14 days on, 7 days off roster at our sites in regional Queensland.
The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning resident's rooms, storage areas, and other areas within the village. This includes stripping and sealing of floors, ensuring resident room supplies are replenished, cleaning of bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, removing rubbish, and other cleaning duties as required.
Additionally, the candidate will assist with general grounds maintenance including weeding and spraying, operating machinery such as whipper snippers, lawn mowers, and hedge trimmers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A current Australian Drivers Licence and reliable transport
* The ability to commute from their home to our site in regional Queensland
* Previous experience in a FIFO Housekeeping, Tavern, Dining, or Catering environment highly regarded
* Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and the ability to work in a team
* For all Stores roles, a valid forklift license is essential
* For all Tavern/Retail roles, a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential
* Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one and a pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screen
