We're looking for an Account Manager at Lightspeed, part of our APAC Retail team. You will manage inbound sales for retail stores in the APAC market, working closely with merchants to build rapport, understand their objectives, and ensure they get the best solutions to achieve their goals.
What you'll be doing:
* Act as a trusted Account Manager to customers, understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions that add value.
* Build trust and rapport, demonstrating active listening to support upselling and account growth.
* Guide customers through their upgrade paths from basic to advanced platforms.
* Demonstrate software solutions, including POS products, modules, and upgrades.
* Responsible for reactive upselling and expanding monthly recurring revenue.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Building retailer advocacy and increasing retail owners' empathy throughout the company.
* Contributing to team objectives, even beyond your role's scope.
What you need to bring:
* Experience in account management, sales development, or similar roles with a sales quota.
* Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in SaaS environments.
* Proficiency with Salesforce.com and other pipeline management tools.
* Entrepreneurial mindset; working smarter, not harder.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
