Your New Role
Reporting to the Support Worker Manager, you will lead and coordinate a team of Support Workers across regional and statewide locations. Your primary focus will be ensuring positive client outcomes, maintaining compliance with legislation and policies, and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leadership & Compliance - Overseeing workforce operations and ensuring adherence to funding guidelines, policies, and quality standards.
* Team Coordination - Managing Support Worker rostering, scheduling, annual leave planning, and recruitment processes.
* Workforce Development - Supporting onboarding, training, and professional growth of team members to maintain high-quality care delivery.
* Continuous Improvement - Participating in audits, monitoring incidents, and supporting risk management strategies to enhance service effectiveness.
* Administrative Support - Ensuring accurate documentation, timesheet submissions, and compliance with client management systems.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring:
* Leadership experience in workforce coordination, preferably within the aged care or community services sector.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills to mentor and support a diverse team.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage workflows efficiently.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and client management systems.
* Knowledge of NDIS guidelines and Serious Incident Reporting (desirable).
Essential Requirements
Candidates must possess:
* National Police Check
* Working with Vulnerable People Registration
* Current Driving Licence
* First Aid Certification
