The Role
This is a full-time role for an accountant with public practice experience. You will prepare and lodge financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders; assist with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning; support clients with growth strategies; and liaise with the ATO and other regulators. You will work closely with clients and our internal team to deliver accurate, timely, and useful advice.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and lodgement of financial statements, income tax returns, across companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
* Exposure to complex tax matters (GST, CGT, FBT, Div7A).
* Supporting clients with growth strategies and process improvements.
* Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in public practice accounting.
CA or CPA commenced or completed.
Proficiency with Xero.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and a stable employment history.
