About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Medicine team as Clinical Nurse - Adolescent Medicine, where you will be responsible for:
Delivering Specialist Clinical Care across Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Services, including Eating Disorders, Gender Diversity, Adolescent Transition, and Complex Medical Clinics, with a strong focus on person-centred care.
Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
Leading and supporting clinical education by mentoring junior staff, facilitating student learning, and contributing to a positive, development-focused team culture.
Driving service improvement by contributing to research, clinical audits, and the development of protocols, while supporting change and innovation across adolescent health services.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in adolescent health care.
Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team.
Sound knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices.
