ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Experienced Truck Sales Executive to join our growing ISUZU, RAM and IVECO trucks dealership in Wodonga.
Located in beautiful Albury/Wodonga, Blacklocks has been operating in the local region for over 100 years, and is partnered with the number one selling truck brand in Australia for the last 37 years. In addition to the ISUZU franchise, Blacklocks are also the local sales and service agents for the RAM and IVECO brands.
Blacklocks is a leading provider of new and used commercial vehicles in the Albury / Wodonga region. As a well‐established business, we pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service, extensive product knowledge, and commitment to delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Our dealership sells in excess of 200 new and used trucks a year and has been a strong performer across the ISUZU, IVECO & RAM trucks networks. In 2023 and 2024 our dealership was awarded with the IVECO light duty dealer of the year award for our outstanding performance across sales, service and parts. This is a true testament to our commitment in delivering a first‐class experience to our growing customer base in the region.
Reporting to our Trucks General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the selling of new and used trucks to both individual and business customers. What you'll be doing
* Actively prospecting and generating new sales leads through networking, cold‐calling, and other lead generation activities.
* Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Demonstrating vehicles and closing sales effectively.
* Negotiating prices and terms to secure sales.
* Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and customer interactions.
* Collaborating with the wider sales team to share best practices and support each other's efforts.
* Keeping up‐to‐date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings.
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
* Strong problem‐solving and customer‐service orientation.
* Resilience and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, target‐driven environment.
* Professional presentation and a professional attitude.
* Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
