The Broome Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) is seeking a local, highly organised Corporate Services Manager to join our amazing team. You will be part of our supportive peak advocacy organisation driving meaningful economic development and supporting a strong local business network.
About the Role
The Corporate Services Manager provides operational leadership across BCCI's corporate functions, ensuring the office operates efficiently and in alignment with its strategic goals. This role oversees assets, human resources, policies and operational systems. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Corporate Services Manager drives continuous improvements and supports staff development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead workforce planning and development, including recruitment, induction, performance management and staff capacity building to foster a strong, values-driven organisational culture.
* Manage organisational assets and resources, including fleet and facilities to ensure efficient, compliant and cost-effective operations.
* Maintain oversight of contracts and service agreements, ensuring they are current, effective and aligned with organisational goals, providing recommendations for improvement as required.
* Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of corporate policies, systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and organisational resilience.
* Champion a culture of health, safety and wellbeing by ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards and policies.
* Support the CEO in identifying and maintaining funding streams and partnerships opportunities to strengthen the organisations sustainability and impact.
* Provide coaching and supervision to the Administration Officer.
* Perform all other duties as requested by the CEO
What We're Looking For
* Proven ability to manage end to end HR processes such as recruitment, induction, contracts and performance management, while supporting workforce planning and staff capacity building.
* Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management and policy development with a strong commitment to maintaining transparent and ethical practices.
* Experience managing organisational systems, contracts and fleet or asset logistics to ensure alignment with operational needs.
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, small-office environment.
* A passion for supporting local and regional business in the Kimberley.
Role Details
* Location: Broome (office-based only – no remote work)
* Salary: $85,000–$95,000 + Super (commensurate with experience)
* Hours: Part-time (Days and hours negotiable with overtime after hours expected for events)
* Start: Immediate or negotiated start date
