Job Overview
As a Service Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of Support Services and maintain the highest standards of professional behavior, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

* Develop and implement initiatives to promote a culture of service excellence and sustainable employee engagement and stakeholder satisfaction.
* Resolve operational issues in a timely manner and in support of the wider hospital operation.
* Lead and provide daily management for the Environmental Services team and physical resources, including direct leadership during peak periods.
* Periodically review, re-evaluate, and revise caregiver tasks, procedures, and duty statements to meet the needs of the services we provide.
* Collaborate with stakeholders seeking feedback on service standards across support services.
* Coordinate performance appraisals and development programs for caregivers and trainees to increase their capability, understanding, and compliance with organizational requirements.
* Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and human resources to address disciplinary matters and grievances, maintaining multi-disciplinary team and department relationships.
* Develop and sustain positive internal and external relationships through communication and consultation.
* Provide leadership, advice, and counsel on support services practices and guidelines.
* Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleaning and food standards are maintained throughout support services.
* Prepare rosters and manage resources within budget effectively.
Key Responsibilities

* Supervising and managing the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services team.
* Ensuring that all cleaning and food standards are met.
* Providing guidance and training to caregivers and trainees.
* Monitoring and addressing any operational issues or concerns.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in a housekeeping management or supervisory role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
* High-quality standards and attention to detail.
* A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality, Business Management/Administration, or Cert IV Training & Assessment.
Benefits

* Salary: $68,956 to $70,179 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
* A permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week.
