Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant educational community from Term 1, 2026. The salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, based on the teaching salaries outlined in the Independent Schools NSW Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025 ($90,100 - $127,281).
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Monitoring student progress through data analysis and assessment outcomes, using this information to inform teaching practices and interventions.
* Encouraging an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and fosters critical thinking among students.
* Liaising with parents, carers and guardians to promote understanding of the importance of Humanities education.
Required Skills
* Exceptional proficiency in Humanities subjects
* Demonstrated understanding of Humanities syllabus documents and assessment strategies.
* Demonstrated excellence and proficiency as a classroom teacher.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Required Experience
* A minimum five years experience teaching Humanities at a secondary level is preferred.
* Appropriate Bachelor's degree in education or a related field and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
