The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of activities and will provide support to the partners, solicitors and paralegals on a daily basis. In this position, you should feel comfortable coordinating calendar appointments, drafting documents, managing communications, and planning events, as necessary for the Wills & Estates and Property team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Personal assistant and administrative duties as required
* Email and calendar management for the team
* Prepare and send cost letters to clients
* Manage the monthly billing cycle for the team
* Assist with maintaining and updating precedents
* Liaise with accounts to pay invoices as required
* Assist with preparation and management of standard documents
* Liaise with clients via phone, email, post or face to face as required
* Draft and send letters to clients
* Manage schedules and prioritise tasks to support the team
* File management both physical and electronic
* Closing/Archiving physical and electronic files
* Print, file, scan, fax and photocopy documents
* Document management and formatting documents
* Assist with preparation and setup for meetings and presentations
* Provide basic I.T. support and escalate as necessary
* Provide adhoc support to the team as needed
Qualifications
* Experience working as a Personal Assistant
* Experience working in the legal sector is ideal but not essential
* Must have a strong attention to detail
* Ability to show initative
* Highly organised with ability to prioritise and multitask
