Overview
As our SCJ Junior IT Support, you'll play an important role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional support to our valued team. In this role, you'll handle inquiries with care and efficiency, proactively resolving issues.

The Position
We are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team and grow with our business. The position is permanent part-time 2 days / week (Tuesday & Thursday).
You will work closely with each retail Store Manager providing general IT hardware, software and networking support as well as working on industry leading new technology.
You will be responsible for:
* Providing first line technical support to retail stores
* Actively responding to and actioning all requests received for IT support via remote dial-in, in-person and or by phone
* Logging, actioning and escalating incidents as required
* General IT and technology support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Communicating effectively with various stakeholders to offer feedback and take advice constructively to build the best possible and industry leading technology platform
* Ongoing admin and maintenance of POS and other systems
* Delivering IT projects within agreed timeframes
* Developing strong working relationships with Store Managers, Assistant Managers and Head Office team being sought out as an IT expert within the business
About you
You live locally—this is an on-site technical position located at our Kotara Head Office;
* Clear verbal and written communication skills for phone, email and face to face support
* Possess great problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and recommending solutions
* Be proficient with various software, especially email, spreadsheets and excel
* Have experience in IT hardware and networking support, with Windows & iOS
* Root cause analysis and systems improvement approach to solutions
* Possess the ability to coordinate and collaborate with external technology partners
* Flexibility with hours and availability when required
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Tech-savvy enough to work effortlessly across multiple IT platforms and simultaneous tasks
