Supply Chain Manager Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team and take on the challenge of optimizing our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the project procurement team to source materials, equipment, services, and subcontract packages.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
* Develop and implement logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive actionable insights for improvement.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
Requirements:
* Specialist degree in engineering or supply chain management; MBA or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record of project deliveries and people management within energy, resource, and construction materials industry.
* Knowledge and experience with contemporary procurement systems and MS Office suite.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects involving sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
* Sound understanding of local and international import/export legislation or requirements.
* Sound understanding of Government Procurement Guidelines.
* Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong professional attitude.
