We have partnered with a Global Leader in innovative and reliable maritime equipment, as a Service Engineer supporting our offshore wind operations. They manufacture highly reliable, innovative, and customized lifesaving equipment, deck equipment, and handling solutions. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for a technical expert who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. We are seeking a genuine, well-rounded individual who can act as a product expert addressing technical questions.
Key Responsibilities Conduct services, participate in testing, commissioning, annual & 5-year inspections on lifeboats and davit/winch systems globally. Complete service reports and deliver to Service Coordinator. Perform Safe Job Analysis according to the procedures and as advised by the Service Coordinator. Communicate with Service Coordinator/Service Manager and the customer regarding the progress of the service job. Complete in-house courses related to position/service missions. Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, overhaul of cranes and/or Life Saving Equipment (LSE). Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance work on equipment. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using relevant measuring devices. Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings. Support production teams with assembly when required. Work in accordance with HSE laws and regulations. Be willing to travel globally as required. Ability to travel up to 90% of time. What You Bring Proven technical background in hydraulics, crane systems, and marine/offshore equipment. 1+ year experience in hydraulics and marine/fishing environments. Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and physically demanding tasks. Strong communication skills in English (verbal & written). Willingness and ability to travel internationally. Physical & Work Demands Must lift up to 100 lbs. and climb aboard marine vessels. Use of precision tools, visual inspections, and physical agility required. Ability to work independently and in varying environments. Ability to climb stairs into boats and work in increased heights.
