About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Monitoring business unit, working closely with the Monitoring Technology Group Manager based in our Rydalmere office.
* Evaluate and improve network operations by delivering rapid incident resolution and high-level technical support for complex environments operating 24/7.
* Implement robust maintenance protocols, including regular backups, patching, upgrades, and daily health assessments, to ensure system stability and data integrity.
* Design and deploy scalable, secure network infrastructures that align with evolving business needs and enhance overall system resilience.
* Oversee the administration and optimization of core network systems, using proactive troubleshooting and system evaluations to minimize downtime and improve performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Hands-on expertise with Cisco technologies (CUCM, UCCX, CUBE) and telephony integration platforms.
* Proficient in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and site-to-site VPN setups.
* Thorough understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), IP addressing, and subnetting strategies.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
* Industry recognised certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, ITIL are highly desirable.
