We are looking for extremely friendly Sales Assistants to work on a casual basis in our Palmerston store.
Responsibilities
- Provide real customer service focus to wow customers with a positive experience.
- Be highly motivated, proactive, and have the ability to communicate at all levels with ease.
- Maintain composure under stress and pressure and strive to succeed.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach and solid merchandising skills.
- Display commitment to the care of pets and reliability; be willing to work flexible days and hours and able to work unsupervised.
- Assist with responsibilities that may include lifting heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food).
Qualifications
- Real customer service focus with the ability to wow customers.
- Highly motivated and proactive; high integrity.
- The ability to communicate to all levels with ease.
- Composure under stress and pressure; a determination to succeed.
- A hands-on approach; strong merchandising skills.
- At least 2 years experience working with a high-volume, disciplined retailer.
- Commitment to the care of pets.
- Pet experience/knowledge is a plus.
- Reliable, determined to meet high standards; willing to be flexible regarding working days and hours and able to work unsupervised.
