IDL is an end-to-end, full-service beverage company. We offer complete private label and contract beverage production solutions for wine as well as a range of other beverages.

Our facility houses some of the most sophisticated wine, cider and beverage processing equipment in the world, ensuring that our products are consistently produced to the highest standards. In the past three years alone, wines produced by IDL have won thirty-seven international wine awards and four of these wines took out top spot with gold medals.

We specialize in providing end-to-end solutions for our customers who are interested in the distribution of our brands or the development of their own labels for the domestic and export markets.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Located in the Geelong region, IDL need some Cellar Hands to help with the production of wines, ciders and RTD's. The Cellar Hand role is pivotal to the production of our quality beverages.

This fundamental production role is responsible for manufacturing and processing a wide range of beverages. Working alongside the production team, under the guidance of our beverage production managers, this role requires adaptability, a personable nature, and a strong eye for detail. Previous experience as a cellar hand is desirable or experience with fermentation.

THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Concisely and accurately record all details of operations and batch numbers on cellar notes.
* Using Caustic and Citric solutions safely conduct cleaning on tanks, hoses, fixed lines, and equipment.
* Operate and monitor pumps, flowmeters, valves, and filtration equipment such as crossflow filters, centrifuges, or UV sterilizers as trained.
* Perform some heaving lifting moving hoses, pumps, equipment, and raw materials around the worksite as required.
* Read and understand all cellar note instructions to correctly carry out other cellar tasks including:
* Wine, juice, cider, and beverage transfers and blending.
* Dipping or measuring tank volumes from the tank farm catwalk.
* Mixing and sparging beverages using CO2 and Nitrogen.
* Loading and Unloading tankers and containers as requested.
* Preparing additives, including accurate weighing of ingredients and record keeping.

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday - Friday 0600 - 1400 or 1400 - 2200

Occasional Saturday work available
