Council is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Parks Support Officer to provide quality administrative and business support to the Parks and Open Spaces function within the Infrastructure Services Directorate.
This role is integral to the efficient delivery of parks and open space services, supporting operational teams, managers and key stakeholders through effective administration, communication, and coordination.

Remuneration of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,009.22 gross per fortnight plus superannuation (12%).

Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:
Provide quality customer service and effective administrative support across the functional areas of the Directorate.
Utilise and maintain databases and electronic records systems.
Undertake administrative duties including processing applications, travel arrangements, purchase requisitions etc.
Provide a communications interface between the Division and customers including stakeholder liaison.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Prepare agendas and minutes for meetings.
Assist in the planning and management of workshops and events.
Assist the Manager with calendar/diary scheduling and management of emails and correspondence.
Cover the position duties of the other Business Support Officer in the Infrastructure Services Directorate, on an as required basis.
What You Will Need To Succeed
Demonstrated administration experience relevant to the role.
Qualifications relevant to the role, e.g. Certificate III in Business Administration or similar.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality documentation.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
The ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team.
Current Class C Driver's Licence.
