This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to join a dynamic team in a diverse role. Reporting to the Finance Leader, you will work alongside a small and supportive team and have an opportunity to develop skills and experience in all areas of the finance function.
The Finance Administrator position is a part-time ongoing role within our Finance Team based in Port Melbourne. Ideally the role is 3-days per week with flexibility of working days and hours to suit the candidate.
Main duties of the role
Accounts Payable
* Ensure all outbound payments have been appropriately authorised, processed correctly within NTRO's ERP (Salesforce) and scheduled for payment in line with agreed terms.
* Facilitate the processing and payment of 'internal' items such as per diem and employee expense claims.
* Resolve issues relating to the processing of invoice information in NTRO's invoice capture portal (Datamolino) to facilitate the appropriate and timely reconciliation of credit card expenses.
* Manage queries through the generic AP email inbox to completion.
Accounts Receivable
* Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner in line with project invoicing milestones.
* Manage the AR aging report and collections on overdue accounts.
* Manage queries through the generic AR email inbox to completion.
Payroll
* Support the Payroll officer in the preparation of periodic pay-runs.
Banking
* Manage the periodic pay-run cycle and advise bank representatives of payments to be made.
* Reconcile the bank account on a monthly basis and ensure a $0 position in the clearing account by the financial close at month-end.
About you
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Finance/ Accounting or related areas
* Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) or working towards this
* 3+ years' relevant experience within a finance team
* Previous Project Accounting experience would be beneficial, but not essential
* Experience working with Financial Force (Salesforce) highly desirable
* Can do attitude, good work ethic, quick turnarounds, collaborative. Accountable for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
