Overview
Are you an experienced Plant Operator seeking a challenging yet rewarding opportunity?
We are currently seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at Swanbank Landfill.
Responsibilities
Operate a range of heavy machinery including Scrapers (637G, 623E), Dozers (D9), and the largest Compactor available (838).
Efficiently manage waste disposal within the landfill environment.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to optimize operational efficiency.
Work environment involves operating within a landfill, with exposure to odors, rubbish, and asbestos.
Safety precautions and protective gear will be provided.
Qualifications and Requirements
Scraper Experience: Proficiency in operating Scraper machinery is essential.
Tickets: Valid tickets for Scraper, Dozer and Compactor (RII essential).
Licenses: HC or HR truck license preferred.
Availability: Immediate start.
Work Hours: 6:00 am until end of shift, with work every 2nd Saturday.
