About the Role
HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for an APS6 level Business Analyst position on behalf of our client located in Surry Hills, NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, high-performing branch focused on improving internal service delivery systems and processes that support disability participants and their goals.
In this role, you will support strategic planning and project delivery by analysing business processes, coordinating reporting activities, and designing functional solutions. You will work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to improve participant experiences through process simplification, better decision-making frameworks, and sustainable service models.
Key Responsibilities
* Producing data-driven reports using statistical techniques.
* Coordinating branch and divisional reporting to track improvements and performance.
* Developing business requirements aligned with policies and contracts.
* Translating data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
* Designing and facilitating workshops and consultations.
* Establishing governance, compliance, and performance tracking frameworks.
* Maintaining risk and audit controls, and resolving issues.
* Evaluating the impact of new process designs and supporting build teams.
* Verifying solutions to ensure they align with business needs.

You are an experienced business analyst with a passion for service design, data interpretation, and process improvement. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
Your Skills and Experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in business analysis and reporting in complex policy or operational settings.
* Understanding of governance, compliance and performance frameworks.
* Excellent communication skills and experience running workshops or consultations.
* Ability to translate metrics into service improvement strategies.
* Confidence interpreting and applying legislation and policy.
