Stone Will Landscapes is an award-winning commercial landscape construction & maintenance company based in Seven Hills and working throughout the Sydney metropolitan, South Coast, Newcastle and regional NSW areas. Skills and Experience Required:
* Sound knowledge and experience (min 2-3 years' experience) in estimating and procurement within the commercial landscape construction sector (Landscape/Light Civil).
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in landscape or civil construction.
* Detailed understanding of construction processes across landscape & Civil works.
* Exceptional time management, organisational & communication skills.
* Experience with estimating software packages (preferably Benchmark or Cubit plus on-screen take-off software}.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* A basic understanding of QA, Environmental, and WH&S systems.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
* Able to communicate well and provide necessary verbal and written documentation during handover with project construction team.
* Be self-motivated, driven to win and able to work well both individually and within a team.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Review of incoming tender requests to ascertain scope and determine if works match the company's target project criteria.
* Liasing with clients to source new tender opportunities.
* Obtaining quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Compilation and review of estimates prior to submission and completing tender proposal documentation.
* Follow through of the post tender process to ensure project wins
This is a full time position reporting into the Senior Estimator. Remuneration offered will be proportionate to your experience and skills.
