About the role
The newly created Regional Coordinator role plays a central role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting commercial objectives. The successful applicant will work closely with the Regional Manager ensuring seamless order management and proactive customer engagement. This is an end-to end role where you will take full ownership of the entire order lifecycle from initiation through to dispatch.
Responsibilities of the role
· Provide comprehensive support to the Regional Manager in end-to end sales order management
· Collaborate with the Regional Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets, and grow existing accounts
· Take full ownership of the order lifecycle — from initial order through to successful delivery — ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer experience
· Accurately verify and apply correct pricing at the point of order entry, maintaining alignment with current pricing structures and customer agreements
· Identify previous year’s order gaps and address customer re-engagement opportunities
· Conduct regular walkthroughs of the crops to assess health and progress of products and report results to the Regional Manager
· Offer guidance, information and solutions to meet customer needs, proactively offering suitable alternatives for any shortages
· Attend Trade-Day and other industry events to further enhance customer relationship management and networking
· Operate under the direction of the Regional Manager, maintaining alignment with team goals
· Visits customers when required by the Regional Manager
· Prepare a monthly sales report detailing key takeaways for the month
Skills and experience
· Excellent attention to detail
· Clear and concise communication skills
· Critical thinker, able to resolve customer concerns effectively
· Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Friendly and qualified demeanor, showing patience and empathy
· Prior experience in a similar role
· Track record of managing high volume complex customer enquiries
· Knowledge of plants and horticulture is advantageous
