About the role
Our client is looking for an energetic Officer Administrator/Accounts Officer to join the team on a 14 Month Fixed Term Contract. The role will be focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, maintain and manage the general office, and provide great customer service to suppliers & customers. The role is based in Crows Nest and located a 5 minute walk from Crows Nest Metro.
The Responsibilities
* Office reception
* Accounts payable responsibilities invoices weekly, payment runs weekly), EFT, credit card etc.)
* Accounts receivable responsibilities invoices monthly, mostly sales exported, invoice occurs on the 21st of the following month).
* Liaising with suppliers and customers
* Maintaining office equipment and supplies
* Reconciliation of business bank accounts
* Administering payroll and taxation requirements
The successful applicant will have
* Previous experience as office administrator (min 2-3 years)
* Basic accounting skills
* Experience with MYOB (or similar)
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Great customer service
* Strong word processing skills - word, excel
* Energetic and proactive
* Australian citizen or permanent resident
