We are committed to creating active, engaged and inclusive care communities, where belonging and connection are fundamental rights of ageing.Palm Lake Care Bargara is currently seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team on a Monday to Friday roster, 6:00am to 2:00pm.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work alongside the housekeeping and laundry team on the floor while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, infection control and presentation across the community.
You will play a key role in training and mentoring staff, completing housekeeping audits, managing stock control and encouraging productivity while maintaining a warm, resident-focused environment.Duties include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, as well as overseeing cleaning schedules, safe chemical use and supply ordering.
