These venues are perfect for weddings, corporate functions, and private events, and we're looking for an experiencedEvents Sales Manager to lead the charge in driving bookings, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The Role
As Events Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of event sales across all three venues, focusing on securing weddings, corporate events, and private functions. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from generating leads and nurturing client relationships to providing tailored event proposals and ensuring seamless event delivery. You will work closely with the operations and events teams to ensure every function exceeds expectations.
This is an on-site role, meaning you will be an integral part of the team at all three venues, representing our unique offerings and ensuring events are executed flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Sales : Drive sales across Mitchelton Winery, Nagambie Brewery & Distillery, and Somewhere Nagambie, focusing on weddings, corporate functions, and private events. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Client Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, guiding them through the event sales process from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. Ensure clients receive exceptional customer service and are confident in their choice of venue.
* Event Proposals & Negotiations : Prepare and present detailed, tailored proposals for weddings, corporate functions, and special events. Negotiate terms to maximize revenue while maintaining high standards of service.
* Event Coordination : Collaborate with operations and event staff to ensure seamless coordination and execution of all events. Maintain an active presence during events to guarantee client satisfaction.
* Collaboration with Marketing : Partner with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns, create engaging content for social media and other channels, and leverage marketing materials to attract and engage potential clients. Ensure consistent messaging across all platforms to drive awareness and sales for events at the venues.
* Venue Expertise & Promotion : Develop deep knowledge of each venue's unique offerings to effectively present them to clients. Represent the venues at industry events, networking functions, and promotional activities.
* Team Collaboration : Work closely with event coordination, operations, and catering teams to ensure that every event is executed to perfection, meeting the highest standards of quality and client expectations.
* Sales Reporting & Analysis : Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management. Analyse sales trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
About You

* Client-Centric Approach : Passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and building long-lasting relationships with clients.
* Event Coordination Expertise : Knowledge of event logistics and a hands-on approach to ensuring flawless event execution.
* Local Knowledge and familiarity with the regional Victoria market is a plus.
