Health Worker Role
The primary objective of a Health Worker is to provide culturally sensitive primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Clinical responsibilities involve client screening, assessment, observation, education, follow-up, health promotion, community engagement, and administrative tasks.
To be successful in this role, key qualifications include a Certificate III or IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care, registration with AHPRA, and relevant experience.
