St Joseph's Primary School, Kilaben Bay and St Mary's Primary School, Warners Bay are seeking a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Primary Teacher with a passion for music and creative learning to join both school communities from 14 October to 15 December 2025.
Responsibilities
- Inspire young learners through music and the arts in a dual-campus setting with teaching days split as follows: St Mary’s Warners Bay (0.6 FTE) Monday to Wednesday; St Joseph’s Kilaben Bay (0.4 FTE) Thursday and Friday.
- Deliver high-quality teaching programs, differentiating learning to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
- Utilise assessment data to inform planning and improve educational outcomes.
- Collaborate with school staff and the broader community to support student learning and well-being.
Experience / Criteria
- Articulate a clear understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education and actively support the Catholic ethos and culture of the school. For Primary or Religion Teaching positions, you must be Catholic.
- Plan and prepare contemporary, compliant teaching programs and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Demonstrated ability to use assessment and school data to optimise outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff and the community to achieve educational outcomes.
- Demonstrate an innovative and agile mindset supporting continuous improvement.
- Experience teaching Music is desirable.
Qualifications
- Four-year trained teacher.
- Active NESA Accreditation.
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Completion of anaphylaxis and CPR training.
Conditions of Employment
Salary is in accordance with the NSW & ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
